Named in honour of my mother, Jane, who always ensured her three daughters were surrounded by books, the room is a tribute to the adventure of storytelling and the value of imagination. This cosy, welcoming space located in the heart of Brunswick offers adventurers a chance to slow down and explore other worlds.
The Reading Room houses our curated collection of fantasy books by Australian and New Zealand authors. This includes all books available through The Bookshop On The Way and more!
Jane’s Reading Room is open by appointment to ensure a relaxed and personal experience for every visitor. We host dedicated reading, writing and craft events and occasionally open our doors for walk-ins.
