Aisling Fowler was born in 1985 and grew up in Surrey, though she always wished she lived in a magical, mountainous kingdom. She holds a BSc in Biology and has worked as both a support worker and a nurse. The idea for Fireborn came to her as she moved between London and the U.S., and now she splits her time between writing, reading, cooking, and plotting adventures (both for herself and her characters).
